Kuje (FCT, Abuja). Flowerbudnews: Dare-devil kidnappers have resurged in Kuje Forests terrorising the helpless inhabitants of the agrarian villages, including Gaube where an APC Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant was killed in cold blood.
Reliable sources, including associates of the late politician, told Flowerbudnews that Alh. Hamidu Sarki Gaube had gone to his farm in Gaube to apportion land from his land to help another man cultivate and farm.

They had finished the task and were returning to Kuje when the kidnappers sprung from the bushes and opened fire, killing Alh. Hamidu,” the sources told Flowerbudnews.
”The kidnapers then seized his brothers who were with him and whisked them into the forests,” an associate of the late politician told Flowerbudnews.
The helpless family had to pay about several millions of naira before the kidnappers freed Hamidu’s brothers who were abducted, Flowerbudnews was reliably informed.
While late Alh. Hamidu’s family are still mourning, the kidnappers again struck in a village near Kpaku, deep into the Kuje forests, Flowerbudnews learnt.
”The kidnappers abducted five persons few days ago. They have been threatening to kill them unless the family quickly source for ransom and pay,” a source told Flowerbudnews in Kuje.
The residents appealed to President Bola Tinubu to help protect them against the kidnappers.
One citizen, who preferred anonymity, noted that the Tinubu Administration had recorded major success against kidnappers in Kuje forest last year, adding: ” the President should please intensify the efforts against these marauders” (Flowerbudnews)
