Lagos (FLOWERBUDNEWS) Nigeria’s leading Identity technology firm, IDENTICO, is currently developing a platform to enable Nigerian artisans subscribe with ease to the unfolding IDENTICO-BACSAAN Artisans Financial support Scheme.
Flowerbudnews recall that IDENTICO and BACSAAN, the Builders, Construction and Skilled Artisans Association of Nigeria, are partnering to establish a new Economic Empowerment Scheme to assist Nigerian Handwork professionals.
The Managing Director of IDENTICO, Mr. Adedamola Adekola, disclosed the ongoing development of the online subscription interface for Artisans while speaking at a function in Lagos on Thursday.
Adekola said that work on the IDENTICO-BACSAAN subscription platform was nearing completion and ”will soon go live to enable Artisans across the country and, even beyond, key in and benefit from the IDENTICO-BACSAAN economic collaboration.’:
”The subscription platform will be highly user-friendly and will be easily accessible to all Artisans wishing to benefit from the IDENTICO-BACSAAN Economic support programme,” the IDENTICO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said.
”Our ICT experts are working round the clock to ensure that the IDENTICO-BACSAAN platform is launched in the next few weeks at most,” Adekola said, adding that the subscription platform ”will also have provision for user interface and interaction to further enhance confidence ”
The IDENTICO Managing Director said that the IDENTICO-BACSAAN partnership was ”designed to unfold unlimited economic empowerment opportunities for Nigerian Artisans.”
”Nigerian Artisans are hardworking and generally good on their trade, but lacks enough economic empowerment support to become very successful and prosperous,” Adekola remarked, adding that the IDENTICO-BACSAAN initiative have the capacity to mitigate poverty among the artisans.
He commended the current Federal Government in particular, for the increasing empowerment opportunities for the down-trodden Nigerians of which artisans are among, but noted that ”with the massive population of handwork professionals in the country, government alone should not be left to shoulder the enormous responsibility.’:
Adekola said that the CHAMS’ Conglomerate which owns IDENTICO, was ”motivated into initiating the IDENTICO-BACSAAN artisans’ Economic Empowerment Scheme to complement the Federal Government efforts and also give back to the society.”
He assured that once an artisan is recognised by BACSAAN, ”there is no limit to the economic empowerment support we will provide for such artisan as the implementation of the IDENTICO-BACSAAN scheme become stronger”.
