BACSAAN National President, Haj Fasasi Mohammed Jamiu in happy mood over prospects of enhanced economic empowerment for artisans from Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Poverty reduction initiatives)

Abeokuta (FLOWERBUDNEWS) A Chieftain of the Builders, Construction and Skilled Artisan Association of Nigeria (BACSAAN), Haj Isiaq Robiu, has assured Nigerian Artisans of more direct economic empowerment benefits from the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government.
The BACSAAN Leader, who is the association’s National Director of Operations (NDO) and a Member of its Board of Trustees (BOT), , gave the assurance in Abeokuta on Wednesday during an enlightenment and sensitisation visits to various BACSAAN members.
Haj. Robiu disclosed that the national leaders of the Association had intensified meetings and discussions with relevant government organs, Ministries and Agencies in Abuja, on how to make it easy for artisans across the country under the umbrella of BACSAAN to benefit from President Tinubu’s varied economic empowerment and welfare initiatives.
Haj. Robiu told them that BACSAAN National President, Haj Fasasi Mohammed Jamiu and other leaders were working hard to get the best economic empowerment support from the Tinubu administration for artisans.
The BACSAAN BOT member disclosed that the National President, himself and other leaders of the Association recently visited the Bank of Industry (BOI) where they were warmly received on behalf of Artisans in Nigeria.
” Though, we are not policians, our interactions with BOI, Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Ministry Works and few others in Abuja, have, however, shown that this – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government meant well for we handwork professionals in the country,” the Artisan Leader stated.
”The various Artisan empowerment openings and initiatives of the Tinubu administration, unfolded to us by the representative of the Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, Mr. Ahmed Kagara, during our visit, was very encouraging.
”It was an indication that we must be ready to tap the economic opportunities,’: Haj. Robiu told the happy Artisans.
The BACSAAN Leader, who himself is a —- urged the Artisans to see the unprecedented opportunities being provided by the Tinubu Administration as a means to improve their lots as ”a Godsent chance”.
He told the Artisans to liaise with their State BACSAAN Chairman, who will liaise with the SouthWest Zonal Coordinator for the procedure to key into some of the economic empowerment openings BACSAAN Leaders are working on from Abuja for the benefits of artisans in the 36 states and the FCT.
BACSAAN is the umbrella body for all artisans in the country. Its members include Mechanics, Tailors, Builders, Rewires, Tilers, POP makers, Iron Benders, Beauticians, Vulcanisers, Hairdressers etc.
