Oshogbo: FLOWERBUDNEWS: Fond Memories of Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the first civilian Governor of Osun State Echoed on Wednesday in Oshogbo at the Memorial Empowerment Programme initiated by his Wife, Hon. Adenike Adeleke to immortalise him.

The Secretary to the Osun State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye eulogised, the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, emphasizing that his legacy continued to inspire everyone.

The SSG made the remark at the Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Empowerment Program in Osogbo, powered by the late Senator’s wife, the Honorable Commissioner for Federal Affairs, Mrs. Adenike Folasade Adeleke, a statement by Kehinde Adeoye, the Special Assistant on media to the SSG, disclosed.

Delivering a welcome address, Hon. Igbalaye praised Senator Adeleke as ”a man dedicated to the service of the people, especially the less privileged.”

He described the late senator as someone whose life was ”marked by selflessness and a deep commitment to improving the lives of the masses, leaving a lasting impact on Osun State”.

“Senator Isiaka Adeleke was a man whose life was dedicated to service and compassion for the people. His selfless nature and dedication to bettering the lives of others have left a legacy that continues to inspire us all,” Hon. Igbalaye remarked.

He also recognized the important role played by Mrs. Adenike Folasade Adeleke, for her leadership in advancing the empowerment program. He expressed his deep gratitude to Mrs. Adeleke for her instrumental role in bringing the empowerment program to fruition.

“Today, as we gather for this empowerment program, we are reminded of how those values continue to resonate with us through the efforts of many, including the Honorable Commissioner for Federal Matters, Mrs. Adenike Folasade Adeleke, who, today amplifies Serubawon’s goodwill.”

“Mrs. Adeleke has taken it upon herself to extend the legacy of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke by powering this program, ensuring that his vision for a more just, equitable society continues to grow.” he said.

Igbalaye further acknowledged the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, who has continued his late brother’s work, serving the people of Osun with the same dedication and empathy.

“This empowerment initiative is not just about providing for today, but also about consolidating the remarkable works of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who carried forward the mantle of leadership and service with the same spirit and dedication as his late brother.” he concluded.
