Ile-Ife (Osun State) FLOWERBUDNEWS: The Project Manager of SAMMYA NIGERIA LIMITED, the Engineering Firm handling the construction of the Osun State Government Flyover Bridge at Lagere in Ile-Ife, Engr. Michael Adedayo has assured that the Bridge would completed timely.
Engr. Adedayo, who gave the assurance while briefing a visiting FLOWERBUDNEWS Media team at the project site said that ”the project is time bound and will be delivered on time”.
The Project Manager said that the company had gained time as it has already completed the production of 20 beams out the 35 beams needed for the construction of the bridge.
He explained that every stage of the construction was being carefully planned and executed, saying; ”this project is like a baby to us and it is being tenderly cared for”.
Engr. Adedayo said that the company had a very rich experience in construction, which it is deploying on the Lagere project , adding; ”we have painstakingly placed premium on quality control and reinforcement”.
He said that all materials being used are fully tested to be of the highest quality before purchase, adding;” we still conduct confirmatory tests on materials supplied to us by clients before use”.
The Project Manager howerever, commended Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Supervisory team of the state Ministry of Works and Infrastructure for their unflinching support for timely completion of the project.
”We give kudos to the Governor and the supervisory team,” Adedayo said, adding that the state government’s prompt fund support was helping to.make the construction work progress smoothly and without delay.
He explained that many essential projects used to suffer undue delay in completion and, sometimes, outright abandonment due to very poor funding by relevant authorities, adding; Governor Ademola Adeleke deserved commendation for the excellent manner his government had being funding projects.
