Ede (FLOWERBUDNEWS): The Ede Muslim Council has felicitated Amb Abdur-Rafii Adejare Bello on his recent appointment as the *Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The Muslim Council described Rt.-Hon. Bello’s appointment ”as a partial soothing balm to the loss of your predecessor (Prof. AbdulGafar Oyeweso, an Ede indigene) who died thirteen weeks ago….”
It noted that Amb. Bello, who is the Oluomo of Edeland from Àrànhín Compound is ”an individual who is renowned for human development,”.
In the statement signed by Mujeeb Adekilekun Tijani, the Council’s General Secretary, it urged Amb. Bello be very beneficial to the society while in the new prestigious position.
