After a stunning first-round knockout, Nigeria’s Adeshina Motunrayo is guaranteed at least a Bronze Medal so far at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Nigerian pugilist defeated Ghazaleh Rasouli of Iran in the opening bout of the boxing event.
This victory, achieved in the quarter-final stage of the competition, secured her a place in the semi-final stage and, consequently, guaranteed Nigeria at least a bronze medal.
The bout ended in a stunning first-round knockout just 2 minutes and 28 seconds in.
