Be Efficient, Diligent in service- Ede Poly Rector charges newly elected, DEANS and HODS
The newly elected Deans and Heads of Departments of The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State have been advised by the the Rector, Engr Dr. Sani Man Yahaya, FNSE, to be efficient and diligent in their day-to-day activities in the citadel of learning.
The Rector, gave the advice on Thursday, 30th October, 2025 during the 223rd meeting of Academic Board, held at S.O.B. Hall of the Polytechnic.
The helmsman, who doubled as the Chairman of Academic Board also enjoined the new Deans and Heads of Departments to take the welfare of the students as top priority, saying”, You should always show love and kindness to both staff and students in your various Schools and departments, because those students under your tutelages today will be eventually excell in their various fields in future and become important personalities”.
Dr. Sani Man Yahaya also used the occasion to eulogize the sterling qualities of the immediate past Deans and Heads of Departments for their various contributions while in office; he, therefore, charged the new members of the Academic Board to build on the legacy for the betterment of the Polytechnic
The Rector, thereafter, admonished the newly elected Deans and Heads of Departments to come out with a blueprint on how to complement and uphold the legacy of the founding fathers of the Polytechnic in order to sustain the motto of the institution which is “KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND CHARACTER.
