APC Chieftain, Ngwu calls for rejig of APC in Enugu to win elections

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Hycienth Ngwu, has called for rejig of APC in Enugu State to reposition the party to win elections in the state.

Ngwu, a former South-East Publicity Secretary of the APC, made the call while speaking to newsmen on Wednesday in Enugu.

The APC chieftain, who is a foundation member of the party in South-East and Enugu State, hailed moves of foundation members to welcome and receive political heavyweights into the party in the state.

According to him, it is now auspicious for foundation members of APC to join hands in welcoming Gov. Peter Mbah and all super stakeholders who eagerly yearn to join the party.

He said, “It is also time to rejig and refocus APC in Enugu State and position it to win elections.

“Practical politicians do not sack and suspend members indiscriminately; rather, diplomacy is usually employed to resolve an issue since a political party is a big family.

“I wonder how a party in opposition in a state should be happy, sacking its quality and super stakeholders.

“I wonder how the leadership of the party will also be vehemently opposed to welcoming the incumbent governor of the state who internal and external stakeholders adjudged as an excellently performing governor.”

Ngwu commended the National Working Committee of the party for saving the party from total collapse in Enugu State.
