Residents of Yewa North Local Government have been urged to ensure proper maintenance and sustainability of government projects in their communities.
This charge was given by the Senator representing Ogun West, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, during the commissioning of projects facilitated in the council area.

The commissioning train of projects attracted by Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Ogun West, berthed in Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.
The projects form part of the Senator’s mid-term achievements since 2023, and they cut across infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.

“Many years back, our people used to travel to the Republic of Benin for medical care. But with the facilities provided here, we believe this will greatly assist our people.”

The projects commissioned include Ohumbe Township Road, Oba Laju Road in Joga Orile, Methodist Road in Igan Okoto, Oke-Ola Road in Ayetoro, and Tobolo Township Road.
Others are a block of six classrooms at Community High School, Agbon Ojodu; a Family Health Centre at Asha; an Ultra-Modern Market at Imasayi; and an ICT Centre at Community Grammar School, Shala, all within Yewa North Local Government Area.
