3SC Mourns Sudden Loss of Assistant Coach, Akin Olowookere

Akin Olowookere, one of the newly appointed assistant coaches of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, has died suddenly during a training session in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. Olowookere slumped on the pitch and was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Olowookere was part of the three newly recruited assistant coaches unveiled by 3SC on August 8, 2025. He had a background as a player and tactician with Sunshine Stars of Akure, and later served as an assistant coach under Edith Agoye.

The sudden passing of Olowookere has shocked the football community, and tributes are pouring in for the late coach. His dedication and expertise will be deeply missed.
