Ede (Osun State) FLOWERBUDNEWS: The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Dr. Sani Man Yahaya, fnse has bagged award of Ambassador of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics(ASUP), witj the Union describing him as a well- refined administrator and a season technocrat
The National President of the Academic staff union of Polytechnics, Comrade Sunday Shammah Kpanja, superintended the conferment at the Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, FLOWERBUDNEWS reports.
Kpanja stated that the award given to the Rector was in recognition of Engr Dr Man Yahaya’s exemplary leadership, strategic administrative style, and sustainance of industrial harmony in the institution
In his remarks, The Chairman Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Ede Osun State, Prof. Taiwo Akanbi Olaiya, who was represented by a member of the Governing Council, Prof. Gbadebo Olagunju, described Engr Yahaya as a man of vision, full of wisdom, who is on the verge of taking the institution to the next level
The Council Chairman also used the occasion to enjoin the entire workforce and students of the institution to join hands, and sustain the current peaceful atmosphere being enjoyed presently in the Polytechnic
Also present at occasion were internal members of the Governing Council and other Polytechnic functionaries and well wishers
In another development, The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Ede, Engr Dr Sani Man Yahaya has commenced the beatification of the institution with the installation of Solar street lights and the construction of Ogberin security gate, both in the north campus of the institution
Speaking about the development, the Chairman, Governing Council Prof. Taiwo Akanbi Olaiya, Esq commended the foresight of Engr Sani Man Yahaya led Management, and pledged the full support of the Governing Council to complete all laudable projects currently in the pipeline before the expiration of their tenure.
