The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mamman Giwa, has felicitated with all workers in Enugu State on the occasion of the May 1, 2025 International Workers’ Day.
The Commissioner, in a goodwill message on Thursday in Enugu, acknowledged the unwavering dedication, strength and resilience of workers in both the public and private sectors, whose contributions remained vital to the peace, security and development of Enugu State.
He commended nano, small, medium and large-scale entrepreneurs; police officers and other law enforcement personnel; as well as other essential service providers for their selfless service, enterprise, and professionalism in the face of evolving challenges.
“The Command is committed to fostering a secure environment that enables meaningful work to thrive.
“All workers to take pride in their labour, uphold dignity and continue to play active roles in building a more just, safe and prosperous Enugu State.
“Happy Workers’ Day and a fruitful new month of May 2025,” he said.
