Calabar (FLOWERBUDNEWS): The University of Calabar Management has reaffirmed that the stoppage of online campaigns for the Unical Multi-purpose Cooperative Society election still subsists.
In a release signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka Icha, a copy of which was made available to FLOWERBUDNEWS, the University Authorities reminded the community of the subsisting directive stopping campaign.
Flowerbudnews recall that, following a meeting with the Vice Chancellor and stakeholders on April 24, candidates are allowed to continue consultations, but online campaigns are strictly prohibited.
The Management warned that any individual or group violating this directive will face severe disciplinary action.
A new date for the election will be communicated to the University community.
