Okuku (Osun State) FLOWERBUDNEWS: The Campus of newly established Alolade Oyinlola College of Health Science and Information Technology is currently bubbling with full academic activities now in top gear.
FLOWERBUDNEWS reports that the High-Standard institution was established by Former Osun State Executive Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola in memory of his late mother, Alolade.
A Correspondent of FLOWERBUDNEWS reports that the institution, located in Okuku, Prince Oyinlola’s hometown, had since commenced operations following full approval and accreditation by relevant educational authorities.
Speaking in an interview with FLOWERBUDNEWS in Okuku, Prince Oyinlola said that the institution was also a way of giving back to the society and community where he grew up, being number 43 of the close to 60 children of his father, late Olokuku of Okuku, Oba Oyinlola.
Prince Oyinlola, who would always be remembered for his enviable record of serving successfully as Military Administrator of Lagos State, and later, as Executive Governor of Osun state, said that the college would also ensure that his mother’s name remained immortal.
”As long as Alolade Oyinlola College of Health Science and Information Technology is existing, my mother’s name would continue to be remembered,” the Former Governor told FLOWERBUDNEWS.
In a recent rich speech to welcome the first set of students into the College, Prince Oyinlola charged students in the country to imbibe the qualities of integrity and dedication to succeed.
”As you begin this academic adventure, I urge you to stay focused, committed, and disciplined in your studies. You are now part of a dynamic community that is anchored on excellence, integrity, and dedication,” the former Governor told the students.
Addressing the students further, Prince Oyinlola said:
”Dear Trailblazers of Alolade Oyinlola College of Health Science and Information Technology,
”With immense pride and excitement, I welcome you as the pioneer students of our college. You are stepping into a historic moment, and I cannot stress enough how fortunate you are to be part of this journey from the beginning.
