The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Monday Okpebholo as the winner of the governorship election in Edo State.
According to INEC’s Returning officer, Prof Farouq Adamu Kuta, the APC candidate scored a total of 291,667 as against 247, 655 votes won by the PDP candidate to emerge winner.
Final Result:
APC: 291267
LP: 22761
PDP: 247374
The APC candidate was therefore declared winner.
