The Progressive Students Movement (PSM), a foremost pan-African Socialist Movement, has tasked newly appointed Director-General of Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Adeola Ajayi, on the principles of equality and social justice.
The President of PSM, Amb. Bestman Okereafor, gave the task on Sunday while speaking to newsmen in Enugu on the appointment.
It would be recalled that Ajayi, who is a career detective and seasoned investigator with the DSS, was recently appointed as Director-General of DSS by President Bola Tinubu earlier last week.
Okereafor lauded President Tinubu for the deserving appointment, adding that “it is putting a round peg in a round hole”.
According to him, PSM is joining millions of Nigerians in congratulating the newly appointed Director-General of DSS, Mr Adeola Ajayi.
“Ajayi remained a responsible and productivity inclined son of the gateway state – Ogun State.
“The appointment is another testimony justifying Ajayi’s exemplary leadership sagacity and experience.
“We salute President Bola Tinubu for finding Ajayi worthy, even as we are optimistic that he will uphold fairness and equity going forward,” he said.
The PSM boss noted that the movement “has no doubt in Ajayi’s exemplary leadership sagacity which has over the years been tested and trusted”.
