Oshogbo (Flowerbudnews): Amidst bustling traffic and vibrant commerce, work is now in very high tempo in the ongoing construction of flyover bridges at Lameco and Okefia areas of Oshogbo by the Osun state government.

The Flyover bridges currently being constructed in Oshogbo are part of the State Government’s MEGA projects designed to transform the infrastructural landscape of Osun state, Hon. Bashir Tokunbo Salami, the State Commissioner for Special Duties had told FLOWERBUDNEWS in a recent interview.
Correspondents of Flowerbudnews who visited the project sites report that evacuation work, construction of piles crucial for casting of pair are currently underway as the Ademola Adeleke Administration. intensifies its efforts drastically boost the infrastructure base of the state.
Consultants, teams of engineers were seeing with their gangs seen going up and down, reinforcing the structure with robust materials to withstand the test of time and the demands of heavy traffic.
Speaking with FLOWERBUDNEWS, the Project Manager oversering the Oke-fia, Alekuwodo –G.R.A flyover bridge, Engr. Tosin Adebayo said he was excited with the work done so far and in line with the government instructions to use only high quality materials for durability.

According to him: ” This is a bridge work and not the job we can do casually, we have to follow some tests, quality control and conduct laboratory test of materials and integrity work and practically.
Engr. Adebayo commended Governor Adeleke and his supervisory team on the project, noting that highly remarkable progress had been made in the projects which started just anout six months ago.
He appealed to the people of the areas to exercise patience saying:” there is no new development that would not have some inconveniences for the people around”.
Engr.Adebayo urge the public to endure the remaining time to complete the various projects, saying :”that’s why we work extra day and night to ensure the projects are delivered on time as soon as possible.”
A member of the public, Alhaja Abibat Adeola Ishola, who spoke with FLOWERBUDNEWS around the construction site, said that she was ::very happy that this kind of flyover bridges across the town were constructed to ease and decongest the terrible traffic situation usually experienced everyday.

The Okinni-based business woman added the flyover bridge of gridlock in the axis and ease commercial activities especially during the festival periods.
Other members of then public, Adewale Lafimohan, Ayo Olalekan, Idowu Fajemirokun who also spoke with FLOWERBUDNEWS about the project, commended the pace of works going on in the capital city of Osogbo.
They wondered how governor Ademola Adeleke led administration has recorded many giant strides with projects across the state. They prayed that GOD should ” spare everyone’s life to enjoy the sweetness of the projects on completion”.
FLOWERBUDNEWS reports that flyover bridges are being constructed in strategic places of Okefia-GRA and Lameco roundabouts to enhance connectivity and stimulate commercial growth in the state. (Flowerbudnews)
