By Joshua Oladipo
Protesters on Sunday gathered at the Olaiya Overhead Bridge in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to conduct their church service under tight security.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the service commenced at exactly 12:01p.m with praise and worship before a sermon was delivered by a preacher, Mr Emmanuel Olowu.
Olowu talked about the essence of good leadership and followership, urging everyone from all ethnic and religious groups to support the government to grow Nigeria’s economy for the benefit of all.
One of the protesters, Mr Sayo Ogunleye, who led the praise session, said prayers were needed for the prosperity and peace of the nation.
The church service ended at about 12:27 p.m. with prayers for good governance. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
