Jos: (Flowerbudnews) The ongoing nationwide protests over bitting hunger and high cost of living registered a positive impact in Jos City as Muslims and Christians become united and demonstrated it in the course of protesting.
Jos is a city devastated over the years by perennial tribal and religious crisis and upheavers.
However, probably battered by the ravaging hunger in the land, the Christians and the Muslims became united in their call for relief from the sufferings.
This was practically demonstrated on the street of Jos when the Christians volunteered, and guarded the Muslim protesters as they took time to observe their afternoon salat – prayers.
The Christians formed a protective circle around the congregation if the Muslims as they observed the prayer.
A commentator on X, Nafiu Mohamed remarked: ”Hunger uniting all Nigerians’:
Abbass Sani Waziri, who posted the photograph of Christians guarding the Muslims, described the show of love and care as ”impressive’. (Flowerbudnews).
