Flowerbudnews: Accumulated assorted fake, expired unwholesome regulated products – Medicines, chemicals, cosmetics and food etc with street value of over N985 Million were recently destroyed by NAFDAC in Kano.

The burnt products were from the entire North West Operational Zone of the Agency. The public destruction served as an effective sensitisation that NAFDAC would not relent its current high-tempo efforts to safeguard the health of the nation.

Besides, and according to some observers, it also served as an effectively warning to traffickers of unwholesome products that sooner or later, NAFDAC would get to them and their dangerous products, as vowed by NAFDAC Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye.
