Flowerbudnews: The Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has intensified assessment of correctional facilities nationwide visiting facilities in Keffi, Nasarawa state and Karshi Centre which is under development.
The Minister, who disclosed this in an information disseminated on his X handle said that some of the facilities were already renovated, adding that his visitation aimed ”to further inform the government’s decision-making process regarding the renovation, relocation, and remodeling of facilities to align with current needs and future requirements.”
In line with the #RenewedHope agenda of the administration of President Bola Tinubu, we believe that a thorough understanding of the challenges is crucial to developing effective solutions,” Tunji-Ojo stated

As part of my ongoing assessment of correctional facilities nationwide, I conducted inspections yesterday at the Karshi center, which is currently underway, and the two facilities in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
With a number of facilities already renovated, this tour aims to further inform the government’s decision-making process regarding the renovation, relocation, and remodeling of facilities to align with current needs and future requirements.
