Abuja (Flowerbudnews,): The Federal Ministry of Education has announced indefinite postponement of the Inauguration and Retreat planned for Pro-Chancellors, Chairmen and Members of Governing Councils of Federal Tertiary Institutions.
The Retreat and Inauguration was earlier scheduled for Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st May 2024.
Folashade Boriowo, the Director, Press and Public Relations of the Ministry said in a statement that the postponement, was necessitated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive that the membership should be reviewed.
”We We regret any inconveniences this may cause,” Boriowo said, adding, “Further updates will be communicated in due course.” (Flowerbudnews)
