Flowerbudnews: Dakar, the Senegalese Capital,
akar was in celebratory mood Thursday night as citizens poured out on the streets to celebrate the release from prison of opposition leader, Ousmane Sonko.
Motorists were hocking their car horns in jubilation among other signs of happiness.
Sonko was released along with his anointed candidate for Senegal’s 24 March presidential election Bassirou Diomaye Faye through a general amnesty granted them by President Macky Sall. (Flowerbudnews)
