Eid el-Fitr: PRP chieftain canvasses for peace, love

Spread the love

The Poples Redemption Party (PRP) Chieftain Yahaya Daudu, seeking governorship election in Niger, has urged Nigerians to live in love and peace irrespective of the country’s diverse religion, culture and ethnicity.

He made the plea in a message issued on Friday in Abuja to congratulate the Muslim faithful at the end of Ramadan fasting — Eid el-Fitr.

He specifically commended the residents of Niger for sustaining peace always, observing that it was a good development for the state to grow.

”I urge Nigerians to continue to live in peace and love for  all as demonstrated during the Ramadan fasting.

”No doubt Nigeria is passing through another phase in the nation building, we should all endeavour to contribute our own quota toward making our country great again.

”I personally recognise what the common man in Nigeria is passing through in the midst of plenty.

”This can be addressed not only by our leaders but with collective efforts of all Nigerians by voting for the leaders that fear God,” he said.

He also called on government at all levels to be sensitive to the plights of the  citizenry by taking seriously the need to check the decay in infrastructure and the need to create wealth.

According to him, wealth creation, health, sound education, inspiring agricultural policies, will be his focus if he becomes the next governor of the state.

He noted that PRP has masses-friendly manifesto aimed at transforming the state and the country.(NAN )
