Auchi Polytechnic Staff Makes 2025 World’s Top 2% Scientists List

Auchi (Edo State):  FLOWERBUDNEWS: Dr. Andrew Ebekozien, a distinguished academic staff of Auchi Polytechnic, has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists for 2025, a prestigious global recognition jointly published by Stanford University and Elsevier.

The international recognition placed Dr. Ebekozien among an elite group of researchers, whose scholarly contributions have had significant impact in their respective fields, a statement by Dr. Angela Egele, the
Director, Public Relations Division of the Polytechnic disclosed.

Dr. Ebekozien, who is a lecturer in the Auchi Polytechnic Department of Quantity Surveying,
is notably, one of three Quantity Surveyors globally to be listed in this year’s ranking, highlighting the uniqueness and significance of his research outputs.

The Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, expressed delight over the achievement, describing it as “a well-deserved honour that reflects the research capacity and academic excellence of our institution.”

Dr. Shehu Umar particularly commended Dr. Ebekozien for his dedication to advancing knowledge in Quantity Surveying and inspiring both staff and students through scholarly excellence.

In her remarks, Dr. Angela Egele, Director of the Public Relations Division, stated that the recognition ”is not only a personal achievement for Dr. Ebekozien, but also a major boost to Auchi Polytechnic’s global academic visibility”.

”It also further validates our institution’s commitment to fostering an environment where research thrives and excellence is celebrated,” Dr. Egele stated.

”The Management, staff, and students of Auchi Polytechnic heartily congratulate Dr. Andrew Ebekozien on this outstanding achievement and urge other scholars to emulate this spirit of scholarly distinction in contributing to national and global development,” the statement said. (FLOWERBUDNEWS)
