Nigerian Entrepreneur, Mrs Ezinne Ezeani has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanities by the American Management University, California.

This is in recognition of her contributions to the empowerment of women and girls across Africa.

The award ceremony, which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, spotlighted Ezeani’s remarkable work as founder of SheCan Nigeria.

In a statement on Friday, Ezeani said SheCan Nigeria is a platform dedicated to equipping women and girls with leadership skills, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support.

Speaking at the event, Ezeani said the recognition was a tribute to the resilience and courage of Nigerian women who continue to break barriers despite numerous challenges.

“This honorary doctorate is a tribute to every woman who has dared to believe SheCan do more.

“It affirms the power of vision, compassion, and consistency in building lives and shaping a better future for generations,” she said.

Ezeani said through SheCan Nigeria, she had been able to reach out to thousands of women and girls with training and opportunities aimed at helping them realise their potential.

In addition to the honorary degree, Ezeani was also named a recipient of the Africa Under 40 CEO Award for her outstanding leadership and innovation in business.

She is the co-founder of MBR Signature, an outdoor advertising firm, and is widely recognised for combining entrepreneurial excellence with social impact.

She was further listed among Africa’s 100 Iconic Personalities, a continental recognition celebrating influential individuals driving positive change across the continent. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
