A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Hycienth Ngwu, says there are signs of Hope for economic wellbeing for Nigerians under programmes of the President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Ngwu, who is the former South-East Publicity Secretary of the APC, said this on Thursday in Enugu in his Easter Goodwill Message to Nigerians.
He noted that the Tax Reform Bills and deepening the Naira for Crude policy “will further and positively” stimulate the country’s economy for the benefit of millions of Nigerians.
According to him, the Senate should make the passage of the Tax Reform Bills as a priority, just like the House of Representatives did.
“When passed, the implementation of the new tax laws will bring about a tremendous relief to ordinary Nigerians.
“The implementation of the Naira for Crude is already driving down the price of vehicular fuel and will certainly moderate inflationary pressure.
“Alll these and more are signs of hope, which the President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda seeks to give Nigerians,” he said.
The APC chieftain, however, urged Nigerians to persevere, adding that “after Easter comes the salvation, and so shall it be to Nigeria.”
He said that there is no genuine success without sacrifice.
“Easter reminds us how Jesus Christ endured hardships, sacrificed leisure and embraced strict discipline and at the end, became the darling of the world.
“Nothing good comes so easy.
Gold usually undergoes through tough refining processes to become the king of jewelries.
“I believe that Nigeria is undergoing necessary processes that will make it stand out as a developed nation that will cater to all Nigerians.
“Let’s like the gold bear the refining processes we are currently undergoing so that at last we shall laugh the best,” he added.
