Almuntaqim Empowerment, Others Partner to promote skill acquisition, entrepreneurship among youths and civil servants

Abuja (FLOWERBUDNEWS): A Non-Governmental Organisation, (NGO), Almuntaqim Empowerment, has forged strategic collaboration with other NGOs for a drastic promotion of skill acquisition and entrepreneurial development among Nigerian youths and civil servants.

Flowerbudnews learnt that the decision to partner was taken by the NGOs at a Strategic Collaboration Meeting to develop strategies for Implementing the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development Masterclasses.

The NGOs collaborating with Almuntaqim Empowerment are, International Collaboration, Business Innovation with Technology and Science, (ICBITS) and
MIJEFA Corporation, founded by a United States based team of highly trained & experienced technical professionals to serve as a catalyst to address the problem of low agro-industrial capacity of many countries in the sub Saharan region of the Africa Continent.

(Mallam Abdulakeem Ibrahim, Director General, ALMUNTAQIM EMPOWERMENT initiated the collaboration.)

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Flowerbudnews, on the outcome of the parley , the Director General of Almuntaqim Empowerment,
Mallam Abdulakeem Ibrahim, disclosed that the focus was to help youths transit from academic pursuits to practical skills and enhancing skill acquisition for civil servants post-service.

According to an Executive Summary of the meeting, the NGOs agreed to work together to:

Empower Nigerian Youths by Equiping them with relevant skills to enhance employability and entrepreneurship, and also facilitate their Seamless Transition from Academia to Industry thereby Bridging the gap between academic pursuits and practical skill acquisition.

The NGOs also agreed to promote Post-Service Opportunities by Providing civil servants with skills to thrive post-service, ensuring a sustainable livelihood.

They equally agreed on the need to boost transformative Leadership by developing a dynamic, results-driven leadership and management framework for government and business sectors through a Sustainable Leadership and Management initiative.

The NGOs agreed on the need to modernise Education and Training by Equiping teachers and business trainers with cutting-edge, globally recognized Active Teaching and Skills Delivery and Assessment Methods.

They noted that it would enable them to facilitate modern, skills-based education and development.

They also discussed Strategic Partnerships and agreed to collaborate on delivering a batch-by-batch masterclass for decision-makers and stakeholders in the Senate House, House of Representatives, Ministries, government agencies, private sector organizations, and educational institutions.

The NGOs noted the actions would help tonIncrease Employability: Enhanced skills and knowledge, leading to improved employability rates, and also promote Entrepreneurial Growth which would Empower youths and civil servants by equipping them to start and manage successful businesses.

On the overall, the NGOs said that a successful implementation of their agreed collaborative actions would provide sustainable Livelihoods foe Post-service civil servants, giving them viable income streams.

They noted that the ”meeting marked a crucial step towards promoting skill acquisition and entrepreneurial development among Nigerian youths and civil servants.

”By fostering strategic partnerships and providing tailored training programs, we can empower individuals to thrive in an ever-evolving economy. We look forward to implementing these initiatives and tracking their progress.”

‘:By working together, we can create a brighter future for Nigerian youths and civil servants, empowering them to drive economic growth and development,” the NGOs collectively stated.

The Partnership meeting was attended by
Prof. David Bruce Day, CEO, iCBITS, Mrs. Cynthia Anuli Day, Director, iCBITS, and
Mr. Onuvae Israel, Executive Director, MIJEFA.

Others were, Barr. Abdurrahman Ibrahim Aboki, Niger State Executive/BoT, Almuntaqim Empowerment and
