Abuja(FLOWERBUDNEWS): Workers of the Federal Ministry of Works have commended Pres. Bola Tinubu’s aggressive road infrastructure development and recent visit to France, noting that it would stimulate sustainable economic growth for Nigeria.
The commendation was given in a welcome back statement issued by Hon. Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, Special Adviser (Media) to the Honourable Minister of Works on behalf the Management and staff of the Ministry, a copy of which was made available to FLOWERBUDNEWS on Thursday.
Honourable Minister of Works, Sen Engr Nweze David Umahi was among Nigeria’s delegation that joined President Tinubu on trip to France for talks on infrastructure cooperation between Nigeria and France.
Barrister Orji Uchenna Orji, noted that the trip to France by President Tinubu and his Works Minister, Umahi along with others, was ‘strategic in the road infrastructure development roadmap of the Renewed Hope administration.”
He stressed that the Renewed Hope administration of the Pres.Tinubu ”is walking the talk in its unwavering commitment towards stimulating sustainable economic growth” through aggressive Road Infrasyructure construction.
The Special Adviser noted that ”the four Renewed Hope Legacy Projects of Mr. President, for all intent and purposes will be a masterstroke for Nigeria’s economic prosperity.”
Hon. Orji stressed that the massive federal road construction under President Tinubu and his Minister of Works, Engr. Umahi, ”is a sustainable investment in the transportation landscape that will connect Nigeria to the world and foster diversification, economic independence, and self sustenance.”
He acknowledged ”Mr. President’s political will to accelerate the completion of inherited road projects awarded by previous administrations and his bold and visionary initiative to build world-class superhighways.”
Barrister Orji emphasized that the projects would ”effectively and sustainably connect Nigeria:s trade, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and industrial corridors,” and would also enhance national social-cultural integration,
The Special Adviser noted that with the Legacy projects and others being executed by President Tinubu, ”we can be sure that the hope for greater future for Nigeria is assured.”
He stated; ”Just recently, the Honourable Minister of Works, His Excellency Sen Engr Nweze David Umahi CON, was among Nigeria’s delegation that joined Mr. President to France for talks on infrastructure cooperation between Nigeria and France.
”It was a moment to discuss investment opportunities and bilateral possibilities between the two countries.
