The Peoples Democratic Party National Reconciliation Committee says it has reconciled members of the National Working Committee of the party.
The Chairman, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, revealed this to newsmen after the committee’s meeting with the NWC on Tuesday in Abuja.
He described the meeting as fruitful, stressing that the reconciliation was necessary for the progress the party
Oyinlola said: “The outcome of today’s meeting is that, to the glory of God, we have been able to resolve the differences that have been causing our party some headache within the NWC.
“We thank God that we have been able to open up to ourselves and resolve to move on as a united NWC, which is what we need for the progress of our party, the PDP“
Oyinlola, who refused to disclose what the issues were, said the committee had resolved the crisis within the rank and file of the NWC.
Asked if the National Executive Committee meeting would still be held on Thursday, he said that was not part of the committee’s discussion.
