The Rangers International Football Club Foundation (RIFCF) has concluded plans for the smooth takeoff of its educational and empowerment life skills programmes in campuses within the country.
The Chairman of the foundation, Coach Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Enugu.
Amaraizu said the essence of the programme, which is targeted at young persons in campuses, was meant for students to be able to face challenges in the near future.
He said that the programme would expose young people to the ideals and standard on positive digital footprint, Techhub, Coding (computer programming), website design, pictorials, video editing and production.
“The foundation is executing the programme in strong partnership with Campus Technology Life Initiative (CTLI), a reputable campus technology initiative set out for credible engagement of young persons in Nigerian campuses.
“The great point to note is that it will help in exposing young people on campuses to life changing experiences and pull them into the use of technology positively for a greater society.
“The foundation is strategic in its approach with the programme meant to be impactful to our young minds,” he said.
The chairman said that the foundation had already gone into four societal and environmental impactful programmes and activities since its inception.
“The foundation started with Health and Well-Being (which is within SDG-3) programme; climate action activities (Reconnecting Nature to Mankind); Kicks4Children as well as Women’s Health and Hygiene,” he added.
The Rangers International Football Club Foundation (RIFCF) is the first Nigeria football club side foundation owned by Rangers International FC of Enugu.
