With the need to improve effective and efficiency in service delivery, the newly Lagos and Ogun States Commanding officer of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), ACM Jonathan Owoade has tasked the Zone’s staff on more commitment with adequate vigilance in the course of discharging their duty.
He said all the Corps’ personnel are expected to leverage on the agency’s target of reducing road traffic crashes and eschewing impunity that can tarnish the image of the Corps.
The RS2 ZCO Owoade disclosed this when he visited Ifo Unit Command on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He appreciated Ifo Unit Commander, ACC Uten Meeme and his team for their commitment and dedication to the service of the Corps against all odds.
This visitation is mainly to appeal to our staff to redouble their action towards achieving efficiency in the reduction of unsuspecting mishaps while making use of the roads.
“All the Corps’ personnel especially the operational staff are expected to operate in accordance to the Agency’s target of reducing road traffic crashes with the eschewing of bribery, corruption while discharging their duties and ensuring that they are extremely careful against the ugly trend of knocking down on the road in the bid of saving lives
He sought more cooperation of the staff in ensuring that RS2HQ maintain its leading role among other zones in the Corps.
He also briefed the Zone’s staff of the idea of having an Officers Mess and reeled out the modalities being set actualize the dream.
