The Lagos State Police Command task force has impounded 257 motorcycles otherwise known as Okada for plying restricted routes listed by Lagos State Government.
Police carried out the Operation by the order of Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, across restricted rotes in some Local government as defiant Okada riders ignored government restriction order, Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO SP Benjamin Hundeyin said
He said the operation would be a Continuous one against defiant Okada riders who are violating law on the order.
He warned Okada riders to desist or keep away restricted routes listed by the State Government as a mean of stem Criminal activities in the States.
