CSDA: Igbo-Eze South Chairman Hails Gov Mbah’s Humanitarian Impact on Rural Communities
The Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area in Enugu State, Chief Ferdinand Ugwueze, has commended Gov. Peter Mbah for his impactful humanitarian interventions and community-driven development initiatives across the state through the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA).
Ugwueze, who is also the Deputy Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Enugu State, gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the CSDA on Monday in Enugu.
The chairman described the Agency as a vital instrument for delivering essential services to vulnerable communities and improving the living conditions of rural dwellers.
He further expressed appreciation for the opportunity to interact with the Agency’s management and staff.
“CSDA’s work demonstrates the importance of responsive and people-oriented governance,” he said.
Ugwueze also acknowledged the Agency’s contributions in areas including water supply, sanitation and other basic social services.
The chairman stressed that such interventions had direct and meaningful impact on the lives of ordinary citizens, promising to propel a robust partnership between the Agency and Igbo-Eze South LGA.
Responding, the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of CSDA, Chief Monday Diamond Ani, who welcomed the chairman, thanked him for the visit and partnership with the Agency.
Ani assured him of CSDA’s continued commitment to grassroots development and improved welfare for communities across the state.
The CSDA boss said that the visit provided an opportunity for both council area and Agency to strengthen collaboration.
He said that the interaction had deepened the relationship between the council area and CSDA in advancing grassroots development and improving the quality of life of the people.
