Gov. Adeleke Rides High, Bags Award for Executing Infrastructural Projects!

Ede (Osun State) Flowerbudnews): Gov. Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke of Osun state has bagged the Fellowship Award of to the prestigious Ede Unique Club of Nigeria for embarking on execution of numerous infrastructural projects since his assumption of office.

Spokesperson for the organization, Prince Wale Ojetimi, said in a statement that the investiture of the fellowship award would hold in Ede on Thursday as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of the organization.

According to the statement, the award “is a testimonial recognition of Adeleke’s personal achievements and his progeny’s remarkable contributions to the socio-economic and political development of Osun State and Nigeria at large.”

Ojetimi said that the governor would also perform the inauguration of the N5.5 million Solar Power Facility donated by the club to the State Hospital in Ede as a corporate social responsibility component of the 40th anniversary.

The event, which will be presided over by Oba Munirudeen Lawal, the Timi of Ede, will feature the 40th Anniversary Lecture to be delivered by Professor Mojeed Alabi, a former Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly.

Among those to receive special recognition awards at the event is retired AIG Wale Abass on his recent pulling out from the Nigeria Police after 35 years of service to the nation.

Ede Unique Club is a non-partisan, socio-cultural organization of leaders in business, academia, the professions and public service, who have excelled in their various chosen fields and are contributing positively to society both in Nigeria and the Diaspora.

Established in 1983, the organisation engages in human capital and social development, focusing especially on the development of young people. (Flowerbudnews)
