Oshogbo (Flowerbudnews): An Engineer with Osun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Adebisi Samiat Temitayo has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his policy of sourcing qualified local manpower and quality local materials in the execution of his MEGA PROJECTS.

Engr. Temitayo who is a supervising engineer on the expansive Old Garage – Okefia – Lameco expansive Dual Carriage Way being constructed by Governor Adeleke’s administration, said that the local content directive had improved the economic fortunes of very many indigenes of Osun state.

The Female Engineer gave the commendation while speaking in an interview with a Correspondent of FLOWERBUDNEWS who visited the site of the dual carriage way Mega project.
Engr. Temitayo noted that Governor Adeleke’s directive on use of local contents had helped to ensure that both the professional and casual manpower and material contents, were being sourced from within Osun state.
”The bitumen – Asphalt, the stone-base, gravel, diesel, infact all materials being used here were sourced locally,” as directed by the Governor, Engr. Temitayo said, adding that the local content initiative had impacted heavily on the economic wellbeing of the people.
She disclosed that all the material used on the project, though sourced locally, were of very high quality in line with the highest quality specification for projects like the Old Garage – Okefia – Lameco Mega Project.
”This road will be very durable,” she said, adding that the Governor had also ensured that the dual carriage way is very wide to make for comfortable and enjoyable motoring by the public.
” Each side is wide, and can comfortably accommodate three vehicles in lane,” Engr. Temitayo told FLOWERBUDNEWS, adding that the people would enjoy the road for very many years to come because of its high quality and standard..
On her part, Engr. Temitayo said that she was ”very happy to be part of the great success story,” of Governor Adeleke.
”To me, an achiever like our Governor, am so proud and happy,” to be part of his success.
Engr. Temitayi also commended the residents along the route of the project, noting that they were very cooperative and supportive of the workers on the project.
She noted that, despite several road lockades that occurred in the course of building the dual carriage road, motorists also endured the temporary inconveniences patiently.
FLOWERBUDNEWS reports that several MEGA PROJECTS of bridges, Dual Carriage Ways etc, are currently being executed by the Governor Adeleke administration which will clock just two years in office next week.
