The Rangers International Football Club Foundation has drawn up community/school activities and printed Moral Guide Book to deepen its Educational Community Charity Initiative.

The Chairman of the Foundation, Coach Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed this newsmen on Wednesday in Enugu.

Amaraizu noted that the education initiative is ongoing on multi-sports, value re-orientation and on mental health and wellness platforms in partnership with Cope-and-Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation and other non-governmental organisations

According to him, at the present phase of our education initiative, we shall be educating young persons/children on value reorientation and morals for ethical rebirth as well as self discovery programmes that will make them self-reliant and meaningful citizens.

The chairman said that the Foundation would educate them on the need to shun negative vibes and discourage them from navigation to negative pathways of societal misconduct and drug abuse.

“Our education initiative will cut across self awareness on mental health and negative emotions and emotions management anchored on community-based approaches with keen attention on multi-sports activities and street sports awareness.

“We shall also be educating young minds on climate actions SDG -3 (Good Health and Well-Being) as well as SDG-13 (Climate Action).

“We have been working in partnership with Cope-and-Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, Carmelite Prisoners’ Interest Organisation (CAPIO) and
ASTRIC among others.

“We are happy with the support of the General Manager of Rangers International FC, Enugu, Bar. Amobi Ezeaku, which will enhance the speedy implementation and execution of the initiatives of the foundation as well as that of our partners,” he said.

Amaraizu said that the partnership and collaboration with other organisations under the initiative would help to trigger exposure of these children and young persons nationwide to skills on community dialogue and community cohesion.

“The initiative, when fully carried out, would lead to self discovery and entrepreneur skills leading to positive impacts and pathways.

“In every engagement, there will be free distributions of Moral Guide Book from the foundation which will help to improve their knowledge and understanding on positive ethics, morals and values,” he added.
