NAFDAC’s Impressive Outing at Entrepreneurs Edge Submit in Kaduna

Kaduna (Flowerbudnews): The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and control (NAFDAC,) has successfully participated in an Entrepreneur’s Edge Summit (EES) under the theme: *Navigating the Challenges, Opportunities, Triumphs, Odeyssey* in Kaduna.

Mr Nasiru Mato who represented the NAFDAC Director, North West Zone, Mrs Josephine Dayilim explained to the huge crowd, the mandate of NAFDAC as enshrined in Act Cap N1 LFN 2004 as well as its vision and mission of safeguarding the health and wellbeing of Nigerians.

Mato also showcased the digitization of NAFDAC registration processes on NAFDAC Automated Product Administration and Monitoring System (NAPAMS).

The State Coordinator highlighted the numerous advantages of the simplified NAFDAC processes, describing it as: ‘:fast, reliable, interactive and real – time”.

He added that the system enabled NAFDAC stakeholders and intending manufacturers of regulated products to register their products with ease from wherever they were.

Mr Mato also used the opportunity to explain registration requirements for MSMEs.

He also formally announced NAFDAC Director General, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye’s laudable decentralization of the registration to Zones for low risk products and for ease of registration with streamlined registration benefits etc

The function was attended by the Kaduna state Governor Sen. Uba Sani, represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Business innovation and Technology, Dr. Yusuf Saleh, as the special Guest of Honour.

The Governor had lauded the organisers of the event and assured intending young entrepreneurs of Government’s support in always providing the enabling environment to thrive. .

The Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Council had urged the participants to see self – reliance as a path to growth and development.

Flowerbudnews reports that the event was also attended by representatives from Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and
Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

Also in her opening remarks, the event convener & CEO Rymba’s Galore, Maryam Aminu Bambale welcomed all guests and participants at the occasion, while hoping for a successful and successful occasion.

She had noted that entrepreneurship and business innovation remained a driving force towards a strong socio – economic development and self – reliance in Nigeria.
