APC Chairmanship Candidate Simon Applauds Gov. Mbah’s Community-Driven Development Initiative
Chief Chris Simon, the Chairmanship Candidate of APC for Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area (LGA) of Enugu State, has applauded Gov. Peter Mbah’s community-driven and people-oriented development initiative in the state
Simon, who is vying for the chairmanship in the forthcoming LGA Election, gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the General Manager of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), Hon. Monday Diamond Ani, on Monday in Enugu.
He appreciated the state government efforts and contributions through the CSDA to ensure rural development across the state.
Simon, popularly known as Don Chris, also commended the CSDA for its commitment to improving the lives of rural communities through community-driven development initiatives.
“I express my appreciation to the Agency and thanked the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his administration’s continued attention to grassroots development,” he said.
Simon, who is a business mogul and philanthropist, noted that the visit was meant to facilitate plans and programmes towards Igbo-Eze North rural communities development.
‘I am hopeful to win the forthcoming LGA election of Igbo-Eze North LGA and foster a formidable partnership between CSDA and Igbo-Eze North LGA for rapid development,” he said.
Responding, Ani described the candidate as “a very dedicated and committed” community-based philanthropist and leader.
He knowledged his contributions to the development and wellbeing of Igbo-Eze North LGA residents.
“In CSDA, we commend His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for prioritising community needs in his administration and supporting CSDA to deliver them,” he said.
