IMT Rector commends CSDA for Impacts on Rural Development

The Rector of Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Prof Gozie Ogbodo, has commended the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) for its contributions to rural development.

Ogbodo particularly appreciated the agency for provision of water and sanitation facilities that are improving living conditions in rural communities.

The rector made the commendation when he paid a courtesy call to the General Manager of CSDA, Hon. Monday Diamond Ani, on Friday in Enugu.

He said, “IMT wanted to strengthen the relationship between the agency and the institution.

“We are here to express serious interest in having CSDA intervention projects extended to IMT community.”

Ogbodo stressed the importance of such interventions in improving access to water, sanitation and other basic social amenities.

Responding, Ani appreciated the rector for his developmental and academic strides in IMT.

He reaffirmed Gov. Peter Mbah’s commitment through CSDA towards supporting community-driven development in the state.

“IMT is a community of multitude of people both students and staff, and His Excellency Dr Peter Mbah is intentional about the growth of the institution in academics, Infrastructure and environment as well as welfare of the students.

“Based on these cardinal needs and population of IMT community, CSDA will intervene with some projects to add value to the institution,” he said.
