CSDA Commissions Oboli Ohoja Water Project, Inspects Ongoing Toilet Projects in Awgu LG

The Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has commissioned the completed water project at Oboli Ohoja in Awgu Local Government Area (LGA) under the Nigerian Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimuli (NG-CARES).

The Agency officials also inspected ongoing toilet projects in Agbada Nnewe, Amaoli and Ugwuleshi communities in Awgu LGA.
Commissioning the Oboli Ohoja Water Project, the General Manager of CSDA, Hon. Monday Diamond Ani, reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to improving access to basic amenities.

Ani also stressed on CSDA role in the NG-CARES initiative in supporting communities, council areas and the state government’s drive to end open defecation.
He appreciated the benefiting communities for their cooperation and ownership of the projects.

“CSDA, under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah, will continue to support sustainable community-driven development across Enugu State,” he said.
Responding during the inspection of ongoing toilet projects, the Traditional Ruler of Agbada Nnewe Community, Igwe Kingsley Okeke, appreciated Gov Peter Mbah for his intentionality in solving the water problem in Enugu State.

Okeke described the governor as “a man who prepared to lead his people over a long period of time”.
The royal father also commended the CSDA for the intervention, describing the project as a significant benefit to the community.
