Flyzone Tourism has partnered with SheMeans Business to expand international travel, tourism market access and business networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs, with a global women-in-business programme in Qatar scheduled for October.

Under the partnership, Flyzone will provide end-to-end travel services, including flight arrangements, accommodation, visa assistance and other logistics for SheMeans Business international programmes.

Principal Executive of Flyzone Tourism, Amb. Ayodeji Awomoyi, said the initiative would enable Nigerian women, particularly those in tourism and related businesses, to access international travel markets, meet potential business partners and build cross-border networks.

Awomoyi, who disclosed this during an interview at Flyzone’s corporate office in Lagos, said international exposure was critical to helping Nigerian entrepreneurs identify new markets and partnerships.

He said the collaboration would go beyond the October programme, with Flyzone expected to manage travel arrangements for future SheMeans Business programmes in destinations including Singapore, Cape Town and Australia.

Co-Founder of SheMeans Business, Marycollete Kaka Kekong, said the organisation partnered with Flyzone because of its experience in managing travel logistics, allowing SheMeans Business to concentrate on its core objective of connecting and empowering women entrepreneurs.

Kekong said Qatar was selected for the forthcoming programme because of its accessibility and status as an international aviation and business hub, providing participants with opportunities to interact with entrepreneurs from different countries.

She said the programme would also expose Nigerian women to international partnerships, investment opportunities and potential funding, while helping travel consultants within the women’s business community build more structured and scalable enterprises.

Speakers expected at the programme include Shirley Enlrida Rolanda, Chief Executive Officer of Mount Fore Noturo; Anna Jankoviak, Founder of Crywit; and Kekong, an entrepreneur, investor and Head of SheMeans Business.

Both organisations said the partnership was aimed at creating sustained opportunities for women to participate in international tourism, business and investment networks.
