Imams of Edeland has announced endorsement of Gov. Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke for a second term in office, stating that the Governor’s performance in office justified re-election.
In a press statement made available to Flowerbudnews on Sunday in Ede, the Body of Imams declare:
The General house of Rawatib Imams of Edeland, under the leadership of Imam Alh. Yunus Adewumi the Olori ratibi of Edeland, and his chairman Alh. Abdulrahman Rufai Babatunde Elesin JP., and entire zonal representatives, has formally endorsed the re- election of the Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, for second term in office.
The Imams said the endorsement was approved during the Leadership Seminar held at Admus Hotel EDE, Sunday 26/07/2026.
According to the statement, the resolution was taken after the review of the Governor’s achievements in good performance, where all aspects were perfectly touched.
The Imams acknowledged that Gov. Adeleke has performed very outstandingly in the areas of infrastructural development, Education advancement, healthcare, and religious harmony.
They said that, by the excellent performance, they were convinced that continuity would further advance peace and development across OSUN State.
With these, the ”Imam Ratibi in council come out fully to endorse Governor Ademola Adeleke to be re-elected in the forthcoming Governorship Election Scheduled for Saturday,15th August 202,” the statement concluded (Flowerbudnews)
