The Management of Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State, is principally appealing to our esteemed Students of the institution to remain calm and be lawful over the aftermath of the Student’s Union election held on 31st October, 2023.
We want to abundantly make it clear that contrary to baseless insinuations and unfounded rumour in some quarters, the Management has no annointed candidate anywhere, as we are committed to equity, transparency, democratic ethos and free will.
It is, therefore, our candid advice that our students should not be allowed to be used as tools in the hands of fifth columnists and individuals with covert tendencies to truncate the peace of our citadel.
We want to assure them that the Management is on top of the situation and it will amicably resolve it without blemish, as they are advised to focus on their primary objectives in the citadel.
Consequently, students are therefore advised to go about their normal duties , most especially the preparations for the forthcoming examinations without any fear as adequate security arrangement has been put in place to guarantee their safety on campus.
The Management, hereby, reiterates its confidence in their capacity to change their spot and their world as good ambassadors of our great institution and leaders of tomorrow.
Lastly, our teeming students should be conscious and strictly adhere to the motto of our great citadel, which is “KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & CHARACTER.
