Enugu Deputy Speaker Hails CSDA People-Oriented Development Interventions In Enugu Communities
The Deputy Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ezenta Ezeani, has hailed Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) for people-oriented development interventions in communities in the state.
The deputy speaker gave the commendation on Thursday when he paid a courtesy visit to CSDA, and met with the Agency’s General Manager, Hon Monday Diamond Ani.
Ezeani, who is the Member Representing Igbo-Etiti East State Constituency, also applauded CSDA for bringing government interventions closer to the grassroots.

According to him, it id good that I acknowledge the strategic role of the CSDA in driving people-oriented and people-participatory development in communities in the state.
Ezeani also advocated for developmental interventions for the people of Igbo-Etiti East Constituency, where he represents.
Responding, Ani noted that the engagement was a demonstration of the strong partnership between the legislative arm of government and agencies under the executive arm of government meant to advance the development agenda of the state.

The CSDA boss acknowledged that the engagement further underscored the importance of collaboration among government institutions in supporting the vision of the Enugu State Government under the leadership of Gov. Peter Mbah.
According to him, we, both as leaders, reaffirmed the need for sustained cooperation and collective efforts towards building stronger, healthier and more prosperous communities across the state.
The engagement provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views on community development and grassroots empowerment.

They also discussed the ongoing efforts of the CSDA to improve the living conditions of people across communities in the state by providing portable water (boreholes), public toilets and livelihood support initiatives among others.
