Calabar (FLOWERBUDNEWS): The Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists, University of Calabar Council (NUCJ-UCC), has reiterated its commitment to the promotion of responsible journalism on Campus.
The NUJC-UCC. Executive President,Comrade Fasoranti Timilehin Francis, gave the assurance during a courtesy visit by the Council’s leadership to the Dean of UNICAL Student Affairs Division, Prof. Eyo Mensah Offiong.
Timilehin Francis, said that the visit focused on addressing challenges confronting the union and also served as avenue to seek the Dean’s support and partnership in advancing the activities and objectives of NUCJ-UCC.
Prof. Offiong, who warmly received the delegation, assured the union of his support, urging its leadership to approach his office whenever they encounter challenges.
The Dean further pledged to stand with the union and provide necessary guidance whenever required.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing optimism about building a stronger relationship and fostering a more vibrant culture of responsible and impactful campus journalism at the University of Calabar.
