Ilero Development Council Pays Courtesy Visit to FUNATO, Donates ₦2 Million and Books to Institution’s Library

The Ilero Development Council (IDC) has paid a courtesy visit to the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), reaffirming its commitment to supporting educational growth and community development.

The delegation was led by the President of the Association, Professor Oladimeji Oladepo, alongside the Secretary, Alhaji Wahab Alarape, the Assistant Secretary, Dr. Gbenga Ojedokun, and other distinguished members.

During the visit, the Council generously donated the sum of ₦2,000,000 to support the ongoing FUNATO Project. In addition, they presented a collection of books to the institution’s library, part of activities marking the 50th Anniversary of Baptist High School, Ilero.

Professor Oladepo noted that the gesture reflects IDC’s dedication to promoting quality education and strengthening community–institution collaboration.

He further assured FUNATO of the Council’s continued partnership and unwavering support toward the progress and development of the university.

The institution’s management appreciated the Council’s contributions, describing them as timely and impactful for both students and faculty.
