The Rotary Club of Osogbo Metropolitan has inaugurated Rotarian Dr. Adedapo Adewale as its 13th president, succeeding Rotarian Bukola Fayinminu.

The investiture ceremony, held at Masab Mega Hall, Osogbo, drew a large gathering of dignitaries and members of the public. Attendees described Dr. Adewale’s assumption of office as long anticipated, given his commitment and contributions to the club over the years.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Adewale expressed gratitude to members for entrusting him with the leadership of the club.

“I do not take the confidence and trust reposed in me for granted. I promise to serve with great determination towards restoring the glory of our club. However, I must emphasize that our collective efforts and collaboration will be critical to achieving our goals,” he said.
Rotary International, the umbrella body of the club, is a global network of more than 1.4 million business and professional leaders committed to humanitarian service, promoting integrity, and advancing goodwill, peace, and mutual understanding across nations.

The event was graced by top government functionaries, including the Chief of Staff to the Osun State Government, Hon. Kazeem Akinleye; Chairman of Ede South Local Government, Hon. Luqman Afolabi; permanent secretaries; heads of local government administration; and directors from ministries and agencies, among others.
