YAYI TEACHERS EXPAND REACH WITH IJEBU NORTH EAST CHAPTER INAUGURATION

Spread the love

The Ijebu North East Chapter of the YAYI Teachers Movement was officially inaugurated on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at The Honour’s Hotel and Suites, Igbeba, Ogun State. The event marked another milestone in the growing political mobilization of educators under the All Progressives Congress (APC) umbrella.

Spearheaded by Comrade (Mrs.) Bola Duduyemi Afolabi, the occasion brought together teachers, political stakeholders, caucus executives, and party loyalists—all united in support of the APC-led administration and the visionary leadership of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).

Welcome Address

In her welcome remarks, Comrade Afolabi, Coordinator of the newly inaugurated chapter, reaffirmed the group’s unwavering commitment to the APC.
> “I am thrilled to see our members come together in support of Senator YAYI’s gubernatorial bid in 2027. Our Senator has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and development of Ogun State, and we believe he possesses the leadership qualities and vision necessary to propel our state to new heights.”

Charge to Members

Delivering his keynote charge, Comrade Odunaro Sunday, State Coordinator of YAYI Teachers, congratulated the new executives, describing their roles as both a call to serve and a call to lead.
> “You must be the torchbearers of the YAYI Teachers’ vision in Ijebu North East. Mobilize, educate, and spread the message of hope, unity, and progress. Be the link between our noble profession and the political future we all desire for Ogun State under the leadership of Distinguished Senator YAYI.”

He further emphasized the importance of civic participation:
> “At this point, let me remind us that the ongoing online INEC registration is very crucial to our collective future. For the progress we seek in 2027, every eligible member must register, revalidate, or transfer their voter’s card. Our voices can only be heard through our votes, and our votes are our power. Let us take this responsibility seriously as teachers and as patriots.”

Comrade Odunaro also proudly noted that with the inauguration of the Ijebu North East Chapter, YAYI Teachers have now successfully covered fifteen (15) Local Government Areas across Ogun State, reflecting the growing influence and grassroots spread of the movement.
